Two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha has now entered the electric market. The company has launched its first electric scooter. The name of this electric scooter is Yamaha Neo Electric Scooter. The special thing about this scooter is that it has two battery options, which we can charge by removing. The driving range of a single battery is 37.5 KM. Whereas it offers 68 KMs with a dual battery.

Yamaha Neo electric scooter signals when you get a call or when someone messages you. Yamaha is giving Smartphone connectivity in this. Talking about the price of this e-scooter of Yamaha, then it is available for 3005 Euro (about Rs 2.52 lakh). This is about Rs 33,200 cheaper than the price of Yamaha NMax 125. Its sale in the European market will start in May.
When will this scooter come to India?
Yamaha will introduce its new e-scooter in India on 11th April. Yamaha India has sent out Block Your Date invites to its dealers. While not much is mentioned in the invite, it is stated that the product will be stylish, sporty and it will be an exciting new future with Yamaha.
Yamaha Neo E-Scooter Specifications
Yamaha is giving Twin headlights in Neo e-scooter and Rubber moldings on the sides of its bodywork. This molding works to protect the scooter from minor scratches. The company gives DC hub motor in it. This motor generates 2.06kW of power in standard mode and has a top speed of 40kmph. On the other hand, in Eco mode, it generates a top speed of 35kmph and a power of 1.58kW.
Battery and range
Yamaha is giving two removable battery packs in this e-scooter, and we can increase its range to 68km. The weight of the lithium battery found in this scooter is 8 kg. Its battery takes 8 hours for full charging at the domestic charging point.
In this, the LCD instrument cluster is given with smartphone compatibility. In this, along with providing route tracking, call, and message information, 13-inch alloy wheels are offered in the scooter.
