Jio Losing Subscribers
According to data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Jio lost more subscribers than VI.
In February, Jio lost 3.7 million subscribers, VI lost 1.5 million subscribers, and Airtel added 1.6 million subscribers.
And if we look at over last six months’ data, Jio has lost over Five times more subscribers than Vodafone Idea. The question is, are these stats a big matter of concern for Jio?
But, even after declining subscribers, the company has improved its active user base to 94.1%. As per TRAI’s latest data, the company has improved its active users base to 94.1% in the month, which means the company has been de-recognizing inactive users, that have resulted in this positive trend.
Why are companies losing their users?

How Does Jio react to it?
Reliance Jio said that they are repurposing its customer retention efforts, which aimed to improve the quality of its base and reduce its costs. The telcos are continuing to improve their active subscriber base.
Even after a decline in subscribers, Jio still holds the highest number of subscribers.
