UPTET paper leaked even after such tight security, exam cancelled

UPTET Paper Leaked: Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) was today i.e. on November 28, amidst tight security arrangements. But the teacher eligibility test has been cancelled due to a paper leak during the exam. Director of Basic Education Department Sarvendra Vikram Singh said that due to the leak of the question paper on WhatsApp the examination has been cancelled. According to media reports, after the paper leak, STF conducted raids across the state. During this, he came to know about the leak of the question paper. After which, he detained many people from Prayagraj, Meerut and Ghaziabad. Now the state government will soon announce the exam dates.

When will the exam take place?

According to the information received, the UP government will conduct the UPTET exam again within a month. Law and Order, ADG, Prashant Kumar have given this information to news agency ANI.

The teacher eligibility test to be held on November 28 was to be held amid tight arrangements. To prevent cheating in the examination, the Uttar Pradesh government had taken several precautionary decisions. Monitoring was being done through live surveillance in the examination centres. This work was being ensured thanks to CCTV cameras. There was a ban on bringing electronic devices to the examination centres. A decision was taken to file a case against those who spread propaganda about the exam on social media. Strict action would be taken against those who spread any kind of misleading information on social media, those who try to copy. Simultaneously recording of candidates was also done at the entrance of the examination centres.

The examination was held at 2,554 centres –

The UPTET exam was conducted at a total of 2,554 centres. Administratively tough decisions were taken to prevent copying. The activities of the examination centre were also being monitored through CCTV from the control room set up at the state level.
