PVC Aadhaar Card Update: UIDAI had issued a PVC Aadhar card for the convenience of the people. But now, UIDAI has tweeted that PVC Aadhar cards prepared in the market will not be valid. Why is PVC Aadhaar card invalid
PVC Aadhar card can be kept in a purse like ATM, Office I card or a Debit card. It has many security features. Just like by scanning the QR code in PVC Aadhaar card, you can verify your identity instantly. Whereas PVC Aadhar card prepared in the open market does not have all these facilities.
UIDAI has given important information related to PVC Aadhaar card
UIDAI has advised not to use the copy of PVC Aadhaar from the open market by tweeting. UIDAI has appealed to the customers not to use such PVC cards keeping in mind safety and security.
UIDAI said in a tweet, “We do not support the use of a copy of PVC Aadhaar from the open market as it does not have any security features. You can order Aadhar PVC Card by paying Rs.50/- (inclusive of GST and Speed Post charges).”
