Channi reached PAP Jalandhar with Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Friday. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi made several announcements for the Punjab Police on Friday i.e. 31/12/2021. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi announced to increase the Punjab Police welfare fund from 10 crores to 15 crores and to give 13 months salary in a year.

CM also increased The diet money given to the players of Punjab Police from Rs 150 to Rs 250. CM Channi, with Deputy CM Randhawa and DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyay, arrived as the chief guest at the Police Welfare Program in PAP on Friday. The CM said that the police personnel standing in the police station, at the block or anywhere else should consider themselves as Charanjit Singh Channi and think of taking Punjab forward.

He also asked the policemen to not register any case under the pressure of any ruling party leader. Channi also announced to give another 250 vehicles to the Punjab Police.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister also gave one crore rupees to Punjab Armed Police(PAP) Jalandhar for renovation and infrastructure improvement. He said that the officers and employees of the Police Department work day and night without seeing the clock, and due to them, the people living in Punjab and Punjab are safe today. Our colleague in the state cabinet, Education Minister Pargat Singh, also came out of the PAP and reached the international level.

Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said that if the police and state employees work together with a clear intention, then anarchy cannot spread in the state. Police personnel should bring honesty and transparency in their work so that people have faith in the police that they will get justice when they go to the police station or tell the police officer standing on the square.

Channi bowed down in Dera Ballan, Akali leader Seth Satpal again in Congress

He got Akali leader Seth Satpal Mal to join the Congress. Seth Satpal Mal was earlier in Congress, but before the 2017 election, he joined Akali Dal. He was given a ticket from Kartarpur, but he lost the election. This time Akali Dal cut his ticket. The Kartarpur assembly segment has gone to the BSP. Seth Satpal rejoined the Congress on Friday. Here, CM Channi also laid the foundation stone of Luna Bhawan in Urban Estate Phase One.
