Two-wheeler Electric vehicle company Battre (BattRE) has launched a new electric scooter. This electric scooter has been named the BattRE Stor:ie. According to the company, it will cover a distance of 132 km in a single charge. It will compete with other two-wheeler electric scooter companies like Ola Electric, Hero Electric, Okinawa, and Pure EV.
The ex-showroom price of BattRE Stor:ie electric scooter in India, is Rs 89,600. However, the subsidy available in the states can give more discount on its price.
Battre Stor:ie top speed 65kmph
The newly launched Battre Stor:ie electric scooter is made up of metal panels and is powered by a Lucas TVS motor. This electric scooter has five riding modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport, Reverse, and Parking. The electric scooter also has a follow-me-home lights feature and LED tail lamps. According to the company, the BattRe Stor:ie scooter can go up to a top speed of 65 kmph.

Advanced features
This scooter has AIS 156 approved 3.1kWh battery pack. It comes with features like Bluetooth connectivity and an integrated smart speedometer with turn-by-turn navigation. Its impressive thing is that it will also get the facility of call alert during riding. Connected Drive features have been given in it, which helps in searching for the nearest charging stations. For ease of access, the network can be accessed through the ‘pay and charge’ concept.

What about testing
According to the company, it has been driven for about one lakh kilometers during its testing. The company further said, “This scooter has been tested for one lakh kilometers because some incidents of fire have come to the fore in the last few weeks, due to which more attention is being paid to the safety of the scooter, to avoid such problems. The customer does not have to face it. For this, we have worked hard to prevent the spread and occurrence of the thermal runaway (fire).”
