Marvel Studios stated that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Madness is different from its first film. This is proven by Sam Raimi that’s selected to direct the film. The film is spookier and also become the first horror film in the MCU.

Unveiling the Multiverse

It seems like Dr. Strange will reveal how the multiverse is created. Thanos’ finger snap causes time and reality holes to open, and characters from other universes may cross worlds, as to how Mysterio explains. This will open unlimited possibilities for the plot. Like how dead characters may return or how X-Men and Fantastic Four appear in the MCU.

Many New Characters

Marvel Studios plans to present many new characters in MCU phase 4. Few of them will be revealed in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Madness. Reportedly, the film will introduce many new characters such as America Chavez, Brother Voodoo, and Nightmare. Also, we will see characters that appear in the first film, such as Mordo.

PG-13 Rating

At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios President, stated that the sequel of Doctor Strange is rated PG-13. In this category, parents are strongly cautioned since some of the materials may be inappropriate for children under 13.
